This beautiful landscape is nestled within thousands of hectares of national parkland located in the Kangaroo Valley just 2.5 hours from Sydney and Canberra, 25 minutes from the Kangaroo Valley shops and from the Nowra Bridge.

Abernethys Road is a bumpy dirt road and on occasion is 4 wheel drive access only after heavy rainfall. Most 2 wheel drive cars and also horse floats and trucks are able to access the property with the possible exception of vehicles set very low to the ground. If you are concerned about access please phone ahead to make alternative arrangements.

Picture yourself in the saddle, riding mountain climbs and rocky ravines or simply relax and enjoy wide open spaces and rolling hills. Picnic with your horse beside the fresh running waters of School and Budgong Creeks. The Kangaroo Valley Horses team of experienced riders and experienced instructors are accredited with Horse Safety Australia and approved by the Working with Children Check - Office of the Children’s Guardian NSW government holding current senior Apply First Aid accreditation with St John Ambulance Australia

Horses enjoy large grass filled paddocks with abundant fresh water supply from rainwater catchment tanks and from crystal clear creeks winding their way through the property.

 

We live on site and are committed to the complete care of your horses believing that a horse receiving love and the correct training, results in trusting and secure behaviour.
